Afternoon training ahead of Fiorentina trip, morning session on Friday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad had their fourth training session of the week on Thursday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s trip to face Fiorentina.

After meeting for video analysis, the players headed outside for a warm-up followed by a range of technique drills and tactical exercises.

Edgar Barreto, Vid Belec (having picked up a knock on his right leg on Tuesday) and Karol Linetty received treatment, saw the physiotherapists and worked through individual sessions. Junior Tavares and Maxime Leverbe worked out in the gym as scheduled while Dodo Pires had a fitness session outside.

Samp will train again on Friday morning.
