Afternoon training before Atalanta clash, closed doors from Friday

The sun was shining over Bogliasco on Thursday as Sampdoria were put through their paces during an afternoon training session.

With the Blucerchiati’s first Serie A home game, against Atalanta, just around the corner, Marco Giampaolo led his players through technical and tactical drills as well as some practice matches on the upper pitch at the Mugnaini.

Matias Silvestre trained separately due to bruising on his right leg, which was treated yesterday, while Andrea Tozzo had a session in the gym.

Tomorrow’s training session will be behind closed doors.
