Another double session at the Mugnaini, afternoon training on Wednesday

Sampdoria had another double session at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Tuesday as they continued to prepare for Saturday evening’s cup clash against AC Milan.

With club directors Antonio Romei, Walter Sabatini and Carlo Osti all dropping in to observe proceedings, the squad was divided up by role in the morning session for strength exercises and tactics drills on the pitches. In the afternoon, the players warmed up before getting stuck into a minimatch.

Edgar Barreto and Bartosz Bereszynski trained separately (pool in the morning, field work in the afternoon). Gaston Ramirez returned to Bogliasco as planned and had a preparatory session ahead of his link-up with the group.

Doria will be back at it on Wednesday afternoon.
