Bereszynski returns to group training, behind closed doors on Friday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday afternoon to continue their preparations for Sunday’s trip to the Dacia Arena to take on Udinese.

The Blucerchiati focused on technique drills, tactics exercises and practice games, with Bartosz Bereszynski returning to group training and Primavera youngsters Pietro Cavagnaro, Jacopo Cioce, Titas Krapikas and Andrea Tessiore joining in with the first-team squad.

Lucas Torreira had an individual recovery session as a precaution, while Wladimiro Falcone, Angelo Palombo and Fabio Quagliarella received treatment and physiotherapy and worked through a tailored programme in the gym and outside. Having now been discharged from Villa Stuart, Emiliano Viviano dropped in at the end of the session.

Samp will have another training session on Friday morning, this time behind closed doors.
