Caprari: “Good spell for me and the team as a whole”

Gianluca Caprari made it two goals in two games with a wonderful strike as Samp were held to a 1-1 draw by Fiorentina at Marassi on Wednesday night.

“It was a great game,” said the Doria striker afterwards. “They had a few more chances in the first half, but we had the better of the second. This is a good spell for me personally and for the team as a whole – I want to keep it up. All of the players will get their chance because we have lots of games close together, so I want to convince the boss and play as much as possible.”

Next up for Samp is the visit of Inter on Saturday evening.

“We’re going to be up against a good side – we saw the Tottenham game,” said Caprari. “We’ll need to perform well and play the way we always do here at Marassi. Our fans will be our twelfth man.”
