Double session at the Mugnaini, nine Primavera youngsters involved

There were grey skies over Bogliasco on Wednesday as Sampdoria continued their preparations for the resumption of Serie A following the international break.

With several players away with their national teams, Marco Giampaolo led his squad in a double session featuring Ibourahima Balde, Pietro Cavagnaro, Jacopo Cioce, Roberto Criscuolo, Maxime Leverbe, Alberto Testa, Andrea Tessiore, Michal Tomic and Giacomo Vrioni from the Primavera side.

Angelo Palombo and Christian Puggioni both missed the session through illness, while Lucas Torreira received treatment and had a tailored session. Fabio Quagliarella used the second part of today’s session to do some recovery work.

Sampdoria will train again on Friday afternoon.
