Double session for Sampdoria in Bogliasco, afternoon training on Thursday
Sampdoria ramped up their preparations for Sunday’s match against Parma with a double training session Bogliasco on Wednesday.
In the morning session, the Blucerchiati split up into groups for some strength work in the gym, before heading outside to work on technique drills and tactical exercises, with Simone Pavan’s Primavera side playing the role of opposition.
In the afternoon, the team warmed up outside before getting stuck into rondo drills and tactics games, with Primavera youngsters Mohamed Bahlouli, Simone Giordano, Ognjen Stijepovic and Jamie Yayi Mpie taking part.
Edgar Barreto took part in both sessions with the squad, while Gianluca Caprari, Riccardo Saponara and Lorenzo Tonelli trained separately as a precaution in the afternoon. Bartosz Bereszynski was only in for the morning to receive physiotherapy and treatment after tests revealed the Pole has a right thigh injury.
Samp will train again on Thursday afternoon.
