Double Wednesday workout with Praet in the ranks

Sampdoria began cranking up their preparations for Sunday’s home game against Atalanta with a double dose of training on Wednesday.

Doria’s most recent arrival Dennis Praet joined his new team-mates for both sessions.

In the morning Marco Giampaolo and the coaching staff split the squad in two – defenders in one group, midfielders and forwards in the other – alternating between fitness work in the gym and on the lower pitch and tactical work on the top pitch.

After lunch the lads reconvened on the top pitch for another round of tactical and technical drills.

Thursday afternoon will be Samp’s last open training session ahead of their Marassi debut this season.
