Ferrero visits training in Bogliasco, morning session and press conference on Friday

Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero and club director Antonio Romei were at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday to watch Doria in training ahead of Saturday’s derby clash with Genoa.

The squad kicked off the session with some video analysis before warming up with and without the ball and moving on to focus on technique exercises and tactical drills. During the session, Primavera youngsters Goncalo Cabral, Yassin Ejjaki, Bozo Mikulic, Alex Pastor, Andrea Tessiore and Roberts Veips all joined in with the first team.

Doria will train behind closed doors on Friday morning, after which Marco Giampaolo will meet the press for his pre-match news conference at around 13:00 CET. We’ll have live updates on Twitter, with highlights to follow on Samp TV.
