Final session of the week, derby prep begins on Tuesday

The Samp squad had their seventh and final training session of the week at the Mugnaini on Saturday. The session began with technical drills followed by tactics-based training matches, also involving Simone Pavan’s Primavera side.

Grégoire Defrel went through a planned individual training session out on the pitch, while Vasco Regini and Jacopo Sala had a warm down session. Edgar Barreto continued his recovery work, as well as being subject to treatment and physiotherapy.

The team will return to training on Tuesday as they begin their preparations for the derby match against Genoa.
