First session of training camp yesterday, two in store today

Sampdoria got their 2016/17 pre-season training camp properly under way yesterday in a sun-soaked Ponte di Legno.

After warming up indoors, Marco Giampaolo and his coaching staff led the players through fitness and possession drills.

Milan Skriniar, fresh from representing Slovakia at the Euros in France, and Daniel Pavlovic, awaiting the completion of his transfer from Frosinone, joined up with the squad in the late afternoon.

Today the Blucerchiati resume the fast pace of work already set out in Bogliasco with a double training session.
