Football Data: key facts and figures on Roma v Samp in the Coppa Italia

Roma and Sampdoria have faced off 67 times in the capital, with the Giallorossi enjoying the best of the match-up so far with 44 wins, the most recent of which was their 3-2 Serie A victory earlier this season. No away win in the cup since 2007. Sampdoria haven’t won a Coppa Italia match away from home since their 2-1 win at Chievo on 17 January 2007. Since then, Doria have drawn two and lost six of their eight away games.
216 minutes since last away cup goal. Samp haven’t found the back of the net in the Coppa Italia for 216 minutes, with their last goal coming in the 84th minute of the 1-1 draw with Juve Stabia on 18 August 2012. Doria failed to score against both Roma (1-0 in 2013/14) and Inter (2-0 in 2014/15).
