Group work continues for Samp, morning session on Friday

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday as they continued their preparations for Sunday night’s visit of Lazio.

The players most involved in the Coppa Italia win over Pescara had another recovery session, while the rest of the group – bolstered by youngsters Joao Gomes Ricciulli, Bozo Mikulic and Filippo Oliana – focused on strength and resistance in the gym before working through a range of technique drills and tactical exercises outside.

Ivan Strinic continued working on his recovery plan, while Karol Linetty again received treatment and physiotherapy.

Doria will return to Bogliasco on Friday morning.
