Intense return to training for Samp, morning session on Thursday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad returned to the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Wednesday following the two-day rest granted to them by the Blucerchiati coach.

With Sunday’s home match against Chievo Verona drawing ever closer, the day began with a technical meeting before the coaching staff led the squad in a high-intensity session outside. The players focused on technique drills and tactical exercises designed to boost athletic resistance, with Primavera youngsters Titas Krapikas and Michal Tomic joining in.

Bartosz Bereszynski had a personalised recovery session following the bruised calf he sustained against Lazio on Sunday, while Angelo Palombo (lower back pain) and Emiliano Viviano (right knee, tests scheduled for today) received treatment and physiotherapy.

On Thursday, the squad will be back in Bogliasco for a morning training session.
