Introducing Blackarrow: “Samp will make it to the Club World Cup”

Sampdoria’s eSports team is going from strength to strength following the recent signing of young German gaming prospect Leon Blackarrow89 Aussieker.

Leon will be the first German to play for an Italian club in eSports, demonstrating Samp’s desire to promote itself on the international stage more and more.

Born in Berlin, Blackarrow is one of the most interesting players on the European Xbox gaming circuit, having already qualified for Licensed Qualified Events organised by EA Sports and FIFA.

Last season he represented Hannover 96 but he has joined the Blucerchiati for a new adventure.

“I’m proud to represent Sampdoria,” Blackarrow revealed in his first interview with the club. “I can’t wait to start this adventure. With my team-mate Mattia Guarracino we definitely want to qualify for the Club World Cup.”

The road to that tournament begins with the qualifiers tomorrow and continues until 11 January.
