Lazio prep begins. Afternoon session scheduled for Thursday

After their 2-1 Coppa Italia victory over SPAL, taking them to the last 16 of the tournament, the Samp squad were back in training this morning. Marco Giampaolo’s team initiated their preparations for the contest with Lazio in Rome on Saturday evening.

The squad was divided into two groups. Those who were involved last night did individual recovery work, including time in the swimming pool, while the rest of the squad did technical and tactical training. The latter group included Vasco Reginin, who is continuing his return to full fitness. Nicola Murru trained separately while Edgar Barreto continued his recovery work. On Thursday the team will train in the afternoon.
