Monday training ahead of Roma minus four internationals. Double session on Tuesday

Sampdoria reassembled at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Monday to kick off preparations for their Saturday night showdown against Roma.

With Bartosz Bereszynski and Karol Linetty (Poland), Joachim Andersen (Denmark) and Titas Krapikas (Lithuania) still away on international duty, academy youngsters Gergely Hutvagner and Michal Tomic (both U19s) and Simone Giordano (U17s) were drafted in to bolster the numbers.

The afternoon session saw the squad put through some warm-up work followed by training games in small areas and aerobic drills.

Meanwhile Edgar Barreto, Dodo Pires and Emiliano Viviano continued their personalised programmes.

Marco Giampaolo has the Blucerchiati booked in for a double session on Tuesday.
