Mourinho: “Pleasure to cross paths with Giampaolo and Samp again”
Jose Mourinho spoke exclusively to Samp TV following Manchester United’s friendly match with the Blucerchiati in Dublin on Wednesday.
“I have Samp have a good season,” began the Portuguese coach. “I’m sure that they can have a good Serie A campaign. I know how good the coach is and the team looked very well set up today. They were good opposition.”
Mourinho also revealed that he misses Serie A, where he enjoyed such success with Inter.
“Of course I miss it,” he said. “It’s seven years now and I miss it. I also kind of miss Samp and especially [Giampaolo] Pazzini. I have to thank him and Samp for what they did to make the treble possible. I’ve been able to see lots of people I knew from back then and some that worked with me. It was a pleasure to see them all again.”
