Preparation continues for Cagliari; morning session again on Friday

Sampdoria were out on the training pitches this morning, as Sunday’s match at home to Cagliari looms on the horizon.

The players went through some muscle activation exercises, tactical and technical drills and a practise match where the pitch was split into thirds.

Ricky Alvarez, Gianluca Carari, Nicola Murru and Duvan Zapata all trained individually as they recover from their various injuries and niggles.

The squad have another session behind closed doors tomorrow morning.
