Preparations for Bassano match continue, Giampaolo news conference on Saturday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday to continue their preparations for the Coppa Italia clash with Bassano Virtus on Sunday.

After a series of medical tests and a pre-session prep meeting, Giampaolo’s men worked through a programme of technical and tactical drills.

In the second part of the session, the players involved in the Gamper Trophy match against Barcelona on Wednesday broke away to do some recovery work while the rest of the squad focused on practice games.

The Blucerchiati will train behind closed doors at Bogliasco on Saturday morning. Giampaolo will then hold a press conference at 13:00 CEST (media entry from 12:45 CEST).
