Preparations for Torino continue, final session and news conference on Saturday

Sampdoria continued their preparations for the visit of Torino on Sunday with another training session at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday afternoon.

Following a technical meeting and initial warm-up, Marco Giampaolo split the squad into two groups, with those involved against Cagliari working separately from the players who didn’t feature.

Emiliano Viviano and Jacopo Sala continued to receive treatment and work on their recovery plans, while Carlos Carbonero had an individual session before joining in with the Primavera.

Samp will train behind closed doors on Saturday morning, after which Giampaolo will hold a pre-match press conference to preview the Napoli game at around 13:00 CET (entrance from 12:45 CET). We’ll have it fully covered on Twitter and Samp TV.
