President Ferrero: “Everyone needs to make it up to the club and supporters”

Massimo Ferrero has moved to calm the mood around the club a day on from the defeat in the Europa League third qualifying round. The president refused however to gloss over the loss to Vojvodina: “Let’s wait for the second leg,” began the Blucerchiati owner. “But the coach and players have to make it up to the club and supporters. Zenga can rest easy because one swallow doesn’t make a summer. Now though we’ll go to play in Serbia.

“I have a team full of great footballers,” continued Ferrero. “I’m proud to say that. We didn’t come into the game as well as we could have done and we had an off-night. I’m sure they will all make it up to me, the club and supporters.”
