Quagliarella, the story continues with Italy call-up for Euro qualifiers
The good news just keeps on coming for Fabio Quagliarella. The freshly crowned 2018/19 Serie A top scorer and Lega Serie A Best Striker has been called up by Roberto Mancini for Italy’s 2020 European Championship qualifying matches in June.
The Samp skipper – after being recalled to the national set-up in March – has been named on a 33-strong Azzuri list for games against Greece and Bosnia Herzegovina.
Italy will meet in Coverciano on 1 June ahead of their visit to Athens on Saturday 8 June (20:45 kick-off) while three days later the Mancini’s men host Bosnia at Allianz Stadium in Turin.
