Sala calls for more of the same: “Let’s continue like this and believe in our game”

Jacopo Sala walked into the mixed zone after the game against Inter on Sunday evening with the smile and gait of a man who’d been made to work hard for a sweet victory.

“We wanted this victory and we’ve got it, so we’re delighted,” the full-back declared to Samp TV. “Our aim was to impose our style of play straight from the off and we managed to do that because the team’s approach was spot on.

“We’ve had three tough games back-to-back, but we played our game in each of them even against Juventus, although it was an impossible encounter.

“Now let’s focus on Fiorentina,” the Italian defender concluded. “We have to continue in this manner to secure our survival as soon as possible.”
