Samp back into double training rhythm in Pinzolo

There were morning and afternoon training sessions for Sampdoria on their first full day of work at the Centro Sportivo Pineta in Pinzolo today.

Walter Zenga and the coaching staff got the morning programme started with some ball work then split the squad in two for tactical drills and fitness exercises.

Niklas Moisander carried out a personalised routine in the gym and Christian Puggioni and Joaquín Correa had therapy.

After lunch the Blucerchiati reconvened at the Pineta for another workout, focusing on tactics and positioning before moving onto a series of training games based mainly on 1-v-1 and 2-v-2 situations.

Federico Bonazzoli trained separately after taking his driving test close to home near Brescia. Niklas Moisander, José Campaña and Alessandro De Vitis also did personalised work, while Puggioni and Correa had more therapy in the afternoon.

Another double dose of training is on the agenda tomorrow, then on Friday the lads are due to play their first friendly in Pinzolo, against NK Triglav Kranj of Slovenia.
