Samp focus on tactics and practice games in double training session

Sampdoria were back in Bogliasco for a double training session on Wednesday to prepare for the weekend’s trip to Palermo.

The squad was split up by position in the morning to focus on gym work and tactics outside, while the second session of the day saw the group come together for rondos and practice games on the upper pitch.

Ricky Alvarez trained separately, while Bartosz Bereszynski and Emiliano Viviano focused on recovery work and physiotherapy in the afternoon session.

Primavera youngsters Pietro Cavagnaro, Domenico Cuomo, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Andrea Tessiore joined in with the first team in the morning, with their colleagues Denis Baumgartner, Gergely Hutvagner and Michal Tomic coming in after lunch.

Marco Giampaolo has scheduled an afternoon session for Thursday.
