Sampdoria eSports: Blackarrow bows out in Round 5 of Bucharest PGL Masters
Leon “Blackarrow” Aussieker’s run at the PGL Masters in Bucharest has come to an end, but his FIFA eWorld Cup dream is still alive.
The Blucerchiati gamer finished the first stage of the competition in the Romanian capital with two wins and three defeats, the last of which, in Round 5, put an end to his continued participation in the tournament.
Blackarrow found himself on the wrong end of an unfortunate draw, which pitted him against some of the best FIFA19 players around, including the undisputed no.1, F2Tekkz, against whom Aussieker actually managed to bag a 4-3 win in the second leg of an aggregate loss.
Although missing out on the full Pro Points allotment was undoubtedly disappointing, these past two days have been excellent preparation for the playoffs in July. If Leon produces a top performance there, he can still make the eWorld Cup.
Full breakdown of his results below:
1st game v Tim Latka (5-1)
2nd game v F2Tekkz (4-5)
3rd game v Janoz (7-6)
4th game v Night Watch (4-7)
5th game v Sakul (3-5)
