Technical and tactical afternoon session at Bogliasco, same again on Friday

Good news in from Bogliasco, as Joachim Andersen and Lorenzo Tonelli were able to train regularly with the group during Thursday’s afternoon training, under the direction of Marco Giampaolo on Pitch 2 of the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini.

The session was structured around piggy-in-the-middle drills, along with athletic work and technical and tactical exercises. The session was rounded off with a series of situational mini-matches.

Dennis Praet and Vasco Regini focused on athletic recovery during their training session, as over the coming days they will undergo their respective recovery programmes at Domodossola, at the centre for sporting activities and water therapy run by Umberto Borino, head of sporting rehabilitation on the Samp staff.

On Friday the squad will take a further step in their preparations for the away fixture in Udine as they undergo another late afternoon training session.
