Technique, tactics and set plays as Atalanta preparations continue

Marco Giampaolo’s Blucerchiati squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday afternoon to continue their preparations for Sunday’s trip to Atalanta.

After a warm-up, the squad focused on technique drills and tactical exercises before rounding things off with some set-piece practice. Vasco Regini and Riccardo Saponara were both unable to take part in group training, instead working out in the pool and doing some individual recovery work. U17s Simone Trimboli, Michael Volpe and Gerard Yepes Laut took part in senior training.

The squad will have their final session of the week on Saturday morning, followed by Marco Giampaolo’s pre-match press conference at 13:00 CEST (live updates on Twitter, video round-up to follow on YouTube).
