Technique and tactics at the Mugnaini, press conference on Friday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria side were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday afternoon as they continue their preparations for Sunday’s trip to play Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The Blucerchiati kicked things off with a warm up, before getting stuck into some rondos and a series of technique and tactics drills.

Long-term absentees Daniel Pavlovic and Carlos Carbonero continued working on their respective recovery plans in the gym and out on the pitch, with Emiliano Viviano received treatment on his wrist injury.

Stanley Amuzie had a tailored session, while Angelo Palombo was unable to take part due to a back complaint.

Doria will train behind closed doors again on Friday morning, with Giampaolo set to hold his pre-match press conference at around 12:45 CET.
