Training on two pitches, Friday morning session behind closed doors

Sampdoria continued their preparations for Sunday’s home match against Palermo (kick-off 12:30 CET). Marco Giampaolo’s men had a loosener on the artifical surface at the Garrone, before finishing the workout with a game on the main pitch at the training ground. Ricky Alvarez joined the team for part of the session.

Ante Budimir didn’t take part in today’s session, focusing instead on recovery. Nine players from the Primavera also joined up with the first team for the workout: Denis Baumgartner, Roberto Criscuolo, Domenico Cuomo, Giovanni Gilardi, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli, Maxime Leverbe, Carlo Romei, Alessio Tissone and Giacomo Vrioni.

The Blucerchiati will train behind closed doors on Friday morning.
