Virtual Bundesliga Grand Final: Blackarrow and Sampdoria go for glory

Sampdoria gamer Leon Blackarrow889 Aussieker is preparing for a shot at Virtual Bundesliga Grand Final glory this weekend after securing a spot in the 24-player finals thanks to a stellar performance in Dortmund, where 120,000 aspiring gamers fought it out for a chance to advance to the elite round.

The 20-year-old will be fighting it out at the West Harbor Event & Convention Centre in Berlin (his hometown). The gamers will be split into two groups for each console, with Blackarrow taking on Tim Latka (Shalke 04), Sn0wGoogles (Eintracht Frankfurt), Marlut (Stuttgart), DerGuacho10 (Borussia Mönchengladbach) and xImpact10 (SpVgg Greuther Fürth) on his side of the draw.

It’s the perfect warm-up competition for the eWorld Cup play-offs, which will take place in the coming weeks.
