Academy: nine young Blucerchiati get international call-ups

Nine players at the Sampdoria Academy have been called up by their respective countries for the upcoming international break.
Latvia. Qualifiers for the upcoming European U21 Championship await for Roberts Veips, with Latvia facing Estonia (Parnu, 11 October) and Bulgaria (Riga, 15 October).
Slovenia. Nik Prelec will represent Slovenia U19s in their upcoming double-header against Switzerland (Kranj, 8 and 10 October).
Cyprus. Andreas Chrysostomou will be part of the Cyprus U19 side that will head to North Macedonia for back-to-back friendlies (12 and 14 October).
Slovakia. Adam Obert will join up with the Slovakia U19 squad for the double-header with Bosnia and Herzegovina (Dunjaska Streda, 8 and 11 October) and the clash with England (Senec, 14 October).
Italy. Michael Brentan has been selected as part of the Italy U18 squad that is training in Cesenatico from 6 to 11 October. The quartet of Nicolo Bracco, Lorenzo Conte, Kevin Leone and Marco Pellizzaro have all had the call from Italy U15 coach Antonio Rocca in recent days.
