Barreto returns as Giampaolo names 24-man squad for Bologna

Marco Giampaolo has named a 24-man squad for Sunday afternoon’s visit of Bologna to Marassi, with Edgar Barreto returning to the fold after his spell on the sidelines.

Primavera winger Michal Tomic – who was on the bench against AC Milan last week – and midfielder Andrea Tessiore have also been called up, with the latter making his first appearance in the senior squad.

Wladimiro Falcone and Jacopo Sala are out injured, while Lorenco Simic is suspended.

Goalkeepers: Krapikas, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Bereszynski, Dodo, Pavlovic, Regini, Silvestre, Skriniar, Tomic.

Midfielders: Alvarez, Barreto, Cigarini, Djuricic, Fernandes, Linetty, Palombo, Praet, Tessiore, Torreira.

Forwards: Budimir, Muriel, Quagliarella, Schick.
