Double training ahead of Lazio opener, afternoon session on Thursday

Eusebio Di Francesco’s Sampdoria squad had a double training session on Wednesday ahead of their first game of the 2019/20 Serie A season again Lazio at Marassi on Sunday night.

In the morning, the squad split up by position before warming up and focusing on tactics. After lunch, Di Francesco and his coaching team led the players through a technique-based session and a practice game.

Jakub Jankto trained separately, while Gonzalo Maroni worked on his recovery and spent time in the pool.

The Blucerchiati will be back to work on Thursday afternoon.
