Double training for Ranieri’s charges, more of the same on Monday

The Sampdoria squad had a double session on a windy Sunday in Bogliasco. Claudio Ranieri’s charges took part in three rondos, technical drills and a small-sided game with mini goals, while the afternoon session focused on stretching and running without the ball.

Pole Bartosz Bereszynski was not involved in the afternoon workout, as he headed off on international duty, while Slovenia international Vid Belec and the two Norwegians, Kristoffer Askildsen and Morten Thorsby, all missed the entire day, having already set off to be with their respective national teams. Gaston Ramirez was back in training, while there was a pleasant surprise for all when Karol Linetty arrived to bid his former team-mates farewell.

Another double training session awaits on Monday.
