A decade exactly has passed since Giampaolo Pazzini joined Sampdoria. The striker was signed in January 2009 to lift the fortunes of a side that had failed to meet expectations in the first half of the season. Things quickly changed with the new No.10 partnering Antonio Cassano up front as Walter Mazzarri’s Blucerchiati began to climb up the table, and went on to reach the Coppa Italia final.
