First kit auction for International Women’s Day

Auctions of match-worn Sampdoria kits in celebration of 8 March, International Women’s Day, are under way. While the club’s famous strip is always special, these ones take on particular significance, given that they are donned with a special patch showing three stylised female fists pointing towards the sky in a display against violence and prejudice.

The first lot of five jerseys is on the Charity Stars website now. Funds raised from the sale of these items will go to the Mascherona Antiviolence Centre, a Genoa-based organisation dedicated to helping women. You can make your own contribution by clicking here.
