Gabbiadini participates as training resumes at Bogliasco

Sampdoria were back at training today at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini as preparations for the away game against Fiorentina began.

Following a lunch at the academy, the squad divided into two groups: those who played in the Coppa Italia game had a recovery session while everyone else had a full workout. Bartosz Bereszynski, Manolo Gabbiadini and, for part of the session, Edgar Barreto were all training with the group.

After Karol Linetty’s ankle injury in the first half against AC Milan on Saturday, the Polish midfielder underwent a scan that revealed the extent of the injury. Linetty has already begun his recovery programme and is not expected to be out of action for long.

Dodo was also at the training ground today, having recently finished his loan spell at Santos. The Brazilian trained individually both in the gym and on the pitch.

The team have a double session planned for tomorrow, Wednesday.
