Internationals start returning. Ranieri names 23-man squad for Piacenza friendly

The lads were back at the training ground on Wednesday morning ahead of their friendly match against Piacenza.

The Blucerchiati will travel to the Stadio Garilli in the afternoon, with kick-off scheduled for 20:30 CEST.

Vid Belec, Bartosz Bereszynski and Jakub Jankto reported back to Bogliasco having completed their commitments with their respective national teams.

Bereszynski and Jankto focused on recovery work in the morning and will train again in the afternoon.

Belec did join in with the rest of the squad and is the only one of the three making the trip to Piacenza.

Alex Ferrari, Manolo Gabbiadini and Nicola Murru also did individual recovery work and none will play any part any this evening’s friendly, Sampdoria’s third of pre-season.

Emil Audero will also remain in Genoa to do some additional work on the pitch.

The team will return to the training ground on Thursday morning.

Goalkeepers: Avogadri, Belec, Ravaglia.

Defenders: Augello, Chabot, Colley, Depaoli, Murillo, Regini, Rocha, Tonelli, Yoshida.

Midfielders: Capezzi, Leris, Palumbo, Verre, Vieira.

Forwards: Bahlouli, Bonazzoli, La Gumina, Prelec, Quagliarella, Ramirez.
