Morning session ahead of Lazio clash: Jankto trains with squad

The Sampdoria players enjoyed a morning workout ahead of the visit of Lazio on Sunday. After a session in the video room, Eusebio Di Francesco and his staff put the players through some technical and tactical drills as well as set-piece work. Jakub Jankto resumed training with the rest of the squad, while Fabio Depaoli, who is ruled out of the opener against Lazio due to suspension, took part in a tailored fitness programme, and Gonzalo Maroni continued down his own path to getting back into shape.

On Saturday, the squad will have another morning session at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco ahead of the coach’s pre-match press conference at 13:00 CEST which will be broadcast live on Twitter and highlights will be uploaded on YouTube in due course.
