Samp continue Bologna build-up as internationals return

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday morning to continue their preparations for the visit of Bologna this weekend.

The Blucerchiati will kick off against Bologna at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday at 15:00 CET.

At the training ground, the squad kicked things off in the video room before heading into the gym for a warm-up. Outside on Pitch 1, the players then did some fitness work before getting stuck into some high-intensity practice games.

Manolo Gabbiadini took part in group training with his team-mates, as well as working through some individual fitness and technique work.

Omar Colley, Nic Prelec and Maya Yoshida – now back from international duty – spent part of the session with their team-mates and part of it in the gym, as did Albin Ekdal and Mikkel Damsgaard, who arrived back in Bogliasco on Thursday morning.

Samp have another morning session scheduled for Friday.
