Technique and tactics with Cagliari in mind. Ranieri press conference on Sunday

Sampdoria were back at the training ground on Saturday morning with Monday’s visit to Cagliari looming large on the horizon.

After some initial work in the gym, Claudio Ranieri and the coaching staff ran an hour-long session on the pitch focusing mainly on technical and tactical aspects.

Edgar Barreto trained separately outside while Andrea Bertolacci, Federico Bonazzoli, Fabio Depaoli and Bartosz Bereszynski (still in Poznan) continued with their respective recovery programmes.

The team will train again on Sunday morning before Ranieri sits down with the media at 12:30 to preview the game against Rolando Maran’s high-flying side. The Blucerchiati will then fly to Cagliari after lunch.
