Together Apart: Sampdoria feature in McGlave’s song about COVID-19
Together Apart. That’s the name of the song written by Scottish singer-songwriter Connor McGlave – a message of unity, strength and hope in these difficult Coronavirus times.
In the video filmed from within the four walls of his room in Glasgow appears a Sampdoria jersey worn by Attilio Lombardo bearing the signatures of the Doria squad from 1992/93. It came to Connor via his manager Marc McStay, son of former Celtic player William McStay, who picked up the piece of memorabilia at an auction. The Samp colours were chosen to represent Italy, which McGlave sings about in Together Apart.
Scottish ??????? singer-songwriter @connormcglave has used his time in isolation to write a song of hope for #Italy ?? and the rest of the world in the fight against #COVID19.
And there's one detail in his video which especially caught our eye… ? pic.twitter.com/NK8Ekc4Lt1
