Training resumes in Bogliasco, thigh issue for Barreto
Sampdoria returned to training in Bogliasco on Tuesday following the defeat to Torino on Sunday.
As usual, those involved against the Granata had a recovery session split between the gym and the pitch, with physiotherapy and massage thrown in for good measure. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad worked through a session focused around technique and tactics.
Tests have confirmed that Edgar Barreto suffered a left thigh strain in the game on Sunday. The Paraguayan has already begun working on his recovery.
Vasco Regini trained outside for the first time in 108 days. He joined in with the rest of the squad for the warm-up, before focusing on some individual fitness work.
Samp have a double session on Wednesday.
