Training resumes in two groups, morning session on Friday ahead of Crotone

Sampdoria were back at the training ground in Bogliasco on Thursday morning following the 2-1 win over Hellas Verona on Wednesday night.

Those involved for all or most of the win at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona had a recovery session, while the rest of the squad worked through technique and fitness drills on Pitch 1.

Keita Balde trained with the group for the first part of the season, before moving on to do some individual work. Bartosz Bereszynski trained outside for the first time since his injury, while Antonio Candreva trained alone. Nik Prelec continued working on his recovery programme.

Manolo Gabbiadini received treatment and physiotherapy and will travel to Rome tomorrow for surgery on his hernia.

Samp will train again on Friday morning ahead of the match against Crotone on Sunday.
