U.C. Sampdoria statement, 16 October 2020

U.C. Sampdoria announces that three members of the ‘Team Group’ have tested positive for COVID-19 following the latest round of testing.

The three individuals (a Primavera player temporarily training with the first team and two club employees) are all asymptomatic and have gone immediately into isolation in accordance with FIGC and Ministry guidelines.

All the necessary procedures outlined in the protocol will be followed in the build-up to Saturday’s match between Sampdoria and Lazio.
