Di Stefano sends Samp U19s into semis

A stunning strike by Lorenzo Di Stefano was enough for Sampdoria U19s to defeat Cagliari and book their place in the Primavera 1 TIM end-of-season finals with two games to spare.

After a goalless 80 minutes of play, the striker produced a clever drag-back and tidy finish to seal the points.

The result means Felice Tufano’s boys can finish no lower than sixth – ensuring qualification to the semi-final play-offs – and sends them temporarily to the top of the league, awaiting results elsewhere.
