Montevago double helps Samp Primavera to 4-1 win over Empoli

Sampdoria Primavera secured their second win in as many games on Tuesday as they crushed Empoli 4-1 in Bogliasco on Tuesday, with first-team boss Claudio Ranieri watching on.

Daniele Montevago gave Doria the lead after just seven minutes’ play, only for Luca Belardinelli to restore parity on the 15-minute mark.

Sampdoria’s lead was restored seven minutes into the second half when Montevago got his second of the afternoon, while late goals from Antony Angileri and Nik Prelec completed a comfortable win for Felice Tufano’s side.
