President Ferrero: “Good start but let’s not get carried away”

Six points in two games have given Samp a perfect start to the 2016/17 season but Massimo Ferrero is not getting carried away.

Mindful of the difficulties encountered last season, the president commented on the victory over Atalanta with cautious optimism.

“It was a very difficult match but we played with character and determination and we can only improve.

“I think we should keep our feet on the ground though because last year was very painful.”
